Welcome to the Pfingst family website!
If you are a descendant of Valentine and Annie Pfingst of Goondiwindi, Queensland, you may be interested in knowing more about your family history and family tree and its roots back to Frankenberg (Eder) in Prussia (now Germany).
This history includes those who have already predeceased us and those who are very much living. You can access this content in a protected environment, as it is only available to direct family members.
To apply for membership and gain full access to our resources, simply fill and submit an application form. To be sure, you and your family are included, you will need to contribute your own details as a means to verifying your link to the family. We can then include you in the membership. All membership application are approved by a human being, so please be patient as it may take a few days for us to process your application. If you haven’t received a response within 7 days (and you have checked your email junk and spam folders, please feel free to contact us to make sure your application hasn’t gone missing.
The privacy of all members is of utmost concern to us, members will need to log-in to gain access. This process will assist in guarding your details from any public access. Once you are registered, we will provide you with your own personal log-in.
Our aim is to build an historical and comprehensive history on our Pfingst ancestors and their descendants. By doing this we will be able to establish and see how we all relate to one another. A large part of this research already exists, you may have well been included already.
There is no membership fee. At no point will you be required to provide any banking or credit card details. Your address, phone number and other personal details will be used for this website administration purposes only and will not be shared with any third parties. We are interested in the names, birth, death and marriage dates and places, of your immediate family. It would assist us if you knew which branch of the family you descend from, if not your parents’ or grandparents’ names will suffice. If you do not know, ask us, you could already have your details on the tree.
We are interested in any information that you may have with regard to your family. Information that we can include on the website e.g. any recollections, stories, profiles on family members. We encourage you to write your own stories.
Feel free to ask questions, we will collect and place them in a frequently asked questions, FAQ, page. We are interested in all historical articles that refer to the extended Pfingst family, including photos, details of war service, personal achievement, stories, video clips are all welcome!
We would really value your contribution in building on the information we already have so that together we can all share our Pfingst history and with the many generations to come!
